Bridal Cave and Thunder Mountain Park are hosting a Fall Festival all October. Festival includes autumn treats, duck races, hay bale maze, corn crib and more. Collect your poker hand by visiting over 40 participating locations on the water. To get a hand just sign up and pay a $20 donation and get your first card, then visit 6 more locations. All hands must be turned in by 7 pm. Winners will be notified by certified mail.

This is a wonderful fund raiser that benefits the Citizens Against Domestic Violence which provides assistance to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in the Lake of the Ozarks area. Buy a $20 ticket and enjoy the theme-decorated tables, and a fantastic brunch with dishes from dozens of restaurants around the Lake area.

This is a live and silent auction of new and gently used purses, wallets and totes. $20 admission includes a drink ticket, heavy hors d’oeuvres and door prize entry. Scott Firefighter Combat Challenge – Sat. & Sun, Sept. 9-10

Don’t miss this free community event! Sponsor vendors, food vendors and all sorts of surprises. Watch as Firefighting Teams from all over the country and Canada compete in firefighting competitive skills, including a 5-story tower climb, hoisting, chopping and rescuing. There will also be a kid challenge.
In remembrance of those that sacrificed their lives on 9/11/01, Surdyke’s is hosting a PWC Ride For Freedom from Surdyke’s Port 20 to Truman Dam and back! This is a free event that starts with a continental breakfast. There will be frequent stops along the way for fuel and food and it will end with a dinner at Surdyke’s Port 20. There will be prizes for the best patriotic outfit and the best decorated PWC. You must pre-register to participate in this fun event. Lake Area first responders will be offered a free PWC to use. You are responsible for your own fuel fill-ups.

32nd Annual Turkey Festival – Saturday, September 30

Bring the whole family and spend the day in Eldon and enjoy all the different items the crafters will be selling, live entertainment and all the delicious BBQ, kettle corn, funnel cakes, fried pickles, gator burgers, Chicago Hot Dogs and lots more. The Turkey Festival Parade will begin at 10:00 am. Applications for booths and parade entry forms are available on the Chamber website.
